Welcome to Patagonia and get ready for the trip of a lifetime. The W-Trek is the best way to see the highlights of Torres del Paine National Park as you hike up to the base of the Towers, spot avalanches, glaciers and experience Patagonian's famous winds. We start the trek with a hike up to the Towers Lookout point for amazing views of the world famous granitic spires. The trek continues along the shores of Lago Nordenskjold to the beautiful French Valley which features excellent views of the surrounding hanging glaciers, mountain lakes and several peaks. The last day of the trek takes you to the Glacier Grey viewpoint where you will get a firsthand look at the massive Patagonian Ice Field where you may see icebergs calving directly from the glacier into the lake. You will be staying at local lodges or camp sites.

This 6-day program is just what you need if you are short of time.

Day 1 - Arrival Puerto Natales & Welcome Briefing

Welcome to Patagonia. Our driver will pick you up at the airport or bus station when you arrive and transfer you to the hotel. Get some rest or enjoy the free time to explore. In the evening, a member of our team will review your equipment in the evening in preparation for the trek the following day.

Day 2 - Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park (Base of Towers) - Las Torres Sector

Hiking time is 7-8 hours. Distance 16km/10Miles, Elevation Gain (700m Approximately)

This is an early day and we will pick you at 08:00 am at your hotel and drive you to Torres del Paine National Park. It takes around 2 hours to reach Torres del Paine national park where our permits will be checked by the local authorities and we will continue our drive for another 20 minutes until we start our hike. We will hike alongside the Ascensio river bank for about an hour and a half before reaching Refugio Chileno where we will be leaving our bags, grab our lunch boxes and start our hike towards the base of the Towers. This is it, Patagonia at its best take your cameras out and take in the views. After viewing the world famous towers we will hike back to the Las Torres where we will be spending the night. It's time to take a hot shower and enjoy a delicious hot meal.

Day 3 - Las Torres Sector - Paine Grande

Hiking time is 7-8 hours. Distance 18km/11Miles, Elevation Gain (450m Approximately)

From the welcome center in Las Torres Sector, you will drive for 45 minutes in private transportation with your guide to Pudeto pier. From there you will take a 30 min boat ride to Refugio Paine Grande Sector. Upon arrival, you can leave some of your belongings at Paine Grande and start your hike to Camping Italiano where the French Valley starts. Once we reach the camp we will drop our bags by the Ranger's house and start our hike to the French Valley lookout point. Enjoy the view as you see hanging glaciers and spot avalanches from the majestic Andes as you reach the French viewpoint.

Optional hike: Britanico lookout point (2 extra hours)

After lunch, we will start our descent from the lookout and continue until we reach the Paine Grande sector where you will be spending the night.

Day 4 - Paine Grande - Grey

Hiking time 4 hours. Distance 11km/7Miles, Elevation Gain (400m Approximately)

After breakfast, we start our trek towards Refugio Grey where we one can often see the ice from the glacier crash into the lake and floating icebergs are common. After lunch, free time to explore the area.

Afternoon, we have the option to do the Ice hike on Grey Glacier at an extra cost of $289 or the Grey Kayak Tour for $189, prices are per person.

Day 5 - Grey to Paine Grande & Puerto Natales

Hiking time 4 hours. Distance 11km/7Miles, Elevation Gain (400m Approximately)

Morning: We have the option to do the Ice hike on Grey glacier at an extra cost of $225 USD or take the first catamaran at 11:00 am

We get back on the same trail until we reach Refugio and board the 6:30 pm Catamaran across Lake Pehoe.

We will arrive back in Puerto Natales late in the evening for your last night.

Day 6 - Depart Puerto Natales

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. According to your flight time, we will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to the airport.
