If you're short on time and just want to catch the highlights of Torres del Paine this trip is for you. This trek hits the main highlights of what might be South America's finest national park. The first day we hike to base of the granite pillars of Torres del Paine which stand almost 2000m/6500ft above the surrounding glaciers and lakes. The second days takes us by boat across Pehoe Lake and then by foot up French Valley to a panoramic view of Paine Grande, the parks tallest peak, and French Glacier. The last day we hike up to the terminus of Glacier Grey where visitors can often catch a glimpse of the giant icebergs calving directly into the lake. Combine some of the world's greatest scenery with an excellent trail and mountain hut system and this has to be one of the finest treks short adventures anywhere.

*Solo travelers who are not joining one of our group treks or end up being the only person booked for a specific fixed departure group trek will be charged an extra $400 for each trekking day.

Day 1 - Puerto Natales to Base of the Towers - Central Sector

Hiking time: 8-9 Hours
Distance: 21Kms
We will pick you up at 6:30 am from your hotel and drop you off at the Puerto Natales bus station. It's about a two-hour bus journey until the entrance of Torres Del Paine. From the welcome center, it's about a three-hour hike up the Ascencio River before we make a final scramble up to the lookout point of Torres Del Paine. We will enjoy lunch as we take in the views of the three granite towers which raise almost 2000m/6500ft directly in front of us. We follow the same path back to the start of the trail.
Lunch / Dinner Included - Overnight at Central Sector

Day 2 - Central Sector - French Valley Hike - Paine Grande

Hiking time: 8-9 Hours
Distance: 15Kms
We start the morning with a 40-min drive to Pehoe Lake which we cross by catamaran. We start our hike from the shore of the lake up the French Valley. It's a steep climb of nearly 300m/1000ft to a panoramic viewpoint where we can enjoy lunch and take in the views of Paine Grande, the park's tallest peak, and French glacier. We head back to the shore of the lake where we will spend the night at the Paine Grande Sector along the lake.

Day 3 - Paine Grande and Glacier Grey to Puerto Natales

Hiking time: 8-9 Hours
Distance: 22Kms
We will begin early morning with our hike to the Grey Glacier. The trail ascends about 200m/650 feet to Laguna Negra where we can catch a glimpse of the Southern Patagonia Ice Field one of the largest ice caps outside of the arctic regions. We head up to the face of Glacier Grey where Lake Grey finishes. and if we are lucky will see some of the huge icebergs as they clave off the glacier into the lake. We return via the same path and by catamaran across the lake to find transport waiting to take us back to Puerto Natales.
