Ushuaia is known as the gateway to Antarctica, but few travelers take the time to explore the stunning Tierra del Fuego National Park that is just outside town. It rests at the southernmost point of Patagonia and provides visitors with beautiful hiking, great wildlife viewing, and a variety of adventure options. This itinerary gives you a little bit of everything Ushuaia has to offer in an all-inclusive package, time sensitive package.

We include a few of the classic Ushuaia experiences here, but there is so much more to do. If you aren't interested in one of these activities we can always customize the trip to include more hiking, photography, off-roading, or culture tours.

It is a great add-on to other tours in the region, whether you're going to Antarctica or elsewhere in Patagonia, don't miss the chance to experience what Ushuaia has to offer!

Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Hotel

Getting to Ushuaia is a journey by itself. You'll want to go to Ushuaia's Malvinas Argentinas International Airport (USH), which has connections from Buenos Aires for international flights, or from El Calafate if you're coming from the Patagonia region.

Our driver will meet you on arrival and take you to your hotel to rest up. Take the evening to visit the town's mainstreet, which has a great selection of restaurants and shops. Your guide will meet you at your hotel to discuss the rest of your itinerary.

(Hotel accommodations included)

Day 2 - Morning visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, afternoon tour: Navigation Beagle Channel

Today you'll experience more of Tierra del Fuego's most beautiful views, starting with a half-day guided tour of the National Park. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the entrance of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Created to preserve the unique sub antarctic flora surrounding Ushuaia, your tour will lead you through some of Patagonia's most unique plants and landscapes.

A short hike takes you to Lake Roca, a glacier lake known as a haven for native bird species. Enjoy a short rest here before traveling with your guide to explore the Beagle Channel in the afternoon.
