Antarctic Snowshoeing Tour

Make contact with the beautiful, relatively untouched landscape of Antarctica. Everyday up to twelve participants will have the opportunity to join an experienced Mountain Guide for an hour and a half excursion that'll lead you to the most breathtaking spots, carefully chosen for their scenic splendor and photography opportunities.

Note: This is an add-on package and available only for passengers on Cruises to the Antarctic.

Participants join the program at the beginning of their expedition and must attend a briefing and training session to review the operating procedures and the equipment.

Every day you are cruising in Antarctica your Mountain Guide will work with the Expedition Leader to look for the best hiking or snowshoeing opportunities within the trip's schedule, based on suitable and safe weather conditions. Participants can select the excursions they want to join, paying a per-excursion fee.

The group that day will then embark on their hour and a half long snowshoeing adventure, led by their guide across the stunning terrain of the Antarctic.

• Must be 12 years or older and fit enough for the expedition
• Must have medical and travel insurance

• Several zip-up top layers
• Waterproof pants and jacket
• Waterproof gloves, warm hat, scarf
• Sunglasses and sunscreen
