Here is your chance to get up close and personal with the beautiful icy landscape of Antarctica from the unique perspective of a sea kayak. On hour and a half long excursions, chosen carefully by your kayaking master, you and your small group of up to 10 participants will paddle through crisp waves past striking icebergs and behold the Antarctic's distinct and fascinating wildlife for an experience unlike any other. If you are over the age of 15 and have previous kayaking experience, this is an opportunity not to be passed by.

Note: This is an add-on package and available only for passengers on Cruises to the Antarctic.
Every day you are in Antarctica, your Kayak Master will work with the Expedition Team to look for the absolute best kayaking opportunities within the trip's schedule, based on suitable and safe weather conditions.

When they've found the perfect place, and after you've attended a briefing and training session to review the operating procedures and the equipment, you'll take to the water with your Kayak Master and accompanying safety zodiac. Each kayaking excursion will be approximately one and a half hours long of paddling through the waves, taking in the majesty of the Antarctic's fiercely beautiful landscape and wildlife.

At the end of the excursion, your Kayak Master will endeavor to offer the group some time for exploration at the landing site.
